I'm sorry. I know you won't close to your biological father, but I'm sorry for your loss.

I have to second what Emily said. Despite your lack of closeness, I am sorry for your loss

I'm sorry for your loss. Your post was a really interesting look into your life and I thank you for that. And I'm sorry that you don't have that closeness with your sister; it can help during hard times. Take care of yourself.

Wow, that's an amazing story, thanks for sharing it with us. Its fascinating how the world works sometimes. For your loss I am sorry, and I am sorry it took so long for you to find out.

I totally get the only child thing. I'm an only child, but I have 10 half-siblings.

Family is weird.

Wow, Patricia. Another one of your posts has floored me; I'm always so amazed at how much depth of feeling, how many layers of expereince you're able to convey in just a few words.

I'm so sorry about your bio father's death and about your Dad's ongoing struggles with dementia -- that's an awful lot for you to be dealing with.

I'm thinking about you.

I'm sorry for your loss, and for your losses. I remember that movie: I can't imagine living it.

It's very sad to hear of your bio father's death, and that you didn't know about it for so long - that must feel very strange. And I am sorry about your father's (your other father's) health problems. As always, your writing is so very moving.

I am at a loss for what to follow up such a moving post with - other than I am sorry for your loss.

The words may not be the right ones, but the sentiment is there...

I just wanted to let you know that I miss you.

thats pretty wild

Anna H.

Hope you're doing ok, Patricia.

Thinking of you.

Just checking in... Hey, where are you?? I miss you. I hope you are doing OK. Much love, Heidi

What Heidi and Anna H. said. Are you okay?
